Gus Johnson's "There's an endangered species right there" green screen is a perfect reaction meme for calling out someone acting ridiculous or out of pocket. The joke lands because he points at the subject like they are a rare, weird animal in the wild.
This template works great for roasting friends in online games or for reacting to absurd tweets. Just slap the green screen over your video and point the finger at the target. It captures that specific moment when you can't believe what you are seeing.
The comedic timing is built into Gus's delivery. You can use this for any situation where someone is being a complete goofball or doing something bizarre. It is a versatile clip for any internet argument or funny highlight reel.
